Your Task

We will be comparing prices in our two countries using ratios and proportions.

As a group, choose four items from your category (Wednesday, Jan. 17).

Homework due Monday, Jan. 22

Each person will find a picture of an item in your category and be sure you know the price (due Monday, Jan. 22).
Convert the price of your item in our currency to the currency of another country. Show all of your work and include an explanation for each step. Use the following values for the exchange rate.

Create a slide in Paint showing the mathematics of converting the price of the item from one currency to another.
As a group, create a BubbleShare presentation. Each person in the group will contribute three slides. The first slide will contain a picture of the item and the price. The second slide will be the Paint slide that shows the mathematics of converting the currency. The third slide will give the price in Canadian dollars and American dollars.
